If I had the car, time and space I would think it quite therapeutic...

I did an essential mod. today with all the sunny weather.

I changed the driver's grab handle (what do they do. anyway? ) for a sunglasses holder.

Now got somewhere to put those shades.

Yes, it is a Ford Focus one. I got a new one for £14.99 delivered on ebay here.

The V1 version, without the lugs, is a straight fit into our cars.
Although they come from China, the delivery was a few days

I did a few miles letting the V6 stretch its lungs and turn air into pollution whilst it roared an addicting melody to my ears

Off to the MOT station in about an hour

Should be interesting, as it's going to an X-Part service centre, so there should be no stone left unturned, unlike the gold saloon I saw yesterday with the bottom bushes hanging out

Just came from the MOT station I went to a few months ago. I recently discovered they had made a typo when inserting my mileage into the national database and thus increased the original mileage by 30 000 km.
I also wanted to see what condition my cheapo lower arm bushes, which cost me 8€ a piece 1,5 years ago, are in and if it's reasonable to start thinking of converting to polyurethane. It is. The old ones are in fairly good condition but the offside one has a small crack.
And also, yesterday the car developed a squeaky sound when turning. I'm not overly certain right now what causes this (strut top bearing maybe?) but it turns out one of the drop links is knocking. It's a 3 month old Lemförder!!!

Ooooh and I met a fellow 75 owner who was in front of me in the line with his Ford. He's from another town and to me it was the first time to meet another owner
