Engine stays in for belts. Last Saturdays client was nearly an hour late for a belt service and water pump. 10:30 start - finished, road tested and parked up..............12:45

When your ready dig out you old invoices and call me on an evening for a chin wag.

A quick run down on what you car should of had :
standard oil change every 12months and on top of this.....
air & pollen filters & brake fluid every two years
plugs and anti freeze every 4 years
Belts every six years
Manual gearbox oil every 7 years
Auto box oil every 4 years

For those cynics amongst us.......... vis motors every ten minutes. cooling fan every week, thermostat twice a year - all tongue firmly in cheek of course

Who would be so crass as to have you sitting around waiting? I hope you charged them for the time to sit and have coffee and biscuits?
