Default rear engine mounts

I aked Rimmers to find out when the rear lower engine mounts will be in (lower tie bar assembly is KKH101383 and for other engine specs) and they have been informed they will be in next week for anyone wanting to know.

Are there any updates on availability of this part. Horners say still on back order list.
Thanks.

I received this at work today from B&G, they have received a supply of bushes and couldn't find a 75/ZT to fit it to. We've put it on the guvnor's tweaked 190 to see how it goes.

B&G will be supplying bushes, as I understand it, so a decent press will be needed to fit these poly replacements.

You could be right but it's impossible to tell the difference between an OEM new one and the poly one by just looking at it and handling it. You'd need some sophisticated equipment to do a comparison. First impressions are that it's no different to the standard one when fitted to the car.

I'd be surprised if B&G hadn't done a decent amount of research into this before committing themselves to a manufacturing run.

As an aside, it would seem that XPart have some stock of these again as I received a couple of back orders this week.

Not sure at the moment. Less than a new unit for the supply of the bushes but there'll be some cost in fitting them. I suspect the prices will be similar when comparing OEM and fitted poly bush.

My word £88 pounds for a bit of aluminium alloy and some rubber.

Does anybody know what happened to workaholic_ro experiments with replacement bushes. I have emailed and PM him but got nothing back. It seemed like a good design at the time.
