Noisy V6
My daughter's interested in a V6 but the engine sounds horrible https://youtu.be/QdSJ-5Q7Q9s Wondering if it's the typical upper manifold butterflies but have never experienced it myself - ideas please?

Always hard to tell from a video, but it sounds to me like there's more than one thing going on there: a rattle and a knock. The knock would worry me.

You could try using a long screwdriver or simillar as a "stethoscope" which should help locate the noise.
If it's from the manifold it should be a reasonably straightforward fix with a good 2nd hand manifold, but if it's from the engine block, it's potentially £££s. Cliff

I did wonder about that as it's a terrible noise and very difficult to be certain from a video. A car from which to walk away isn't it Mike?
