Went out and done our last bit of shopping (salads etc) at 9 pm last night..
Best idea ever, walked into a store with full shelves, empty isles and no queue at the checkout.

mmmm - haven't pulled a cracker since about 1968 when I met the missus

Just to amplify on my post of Tuesday - my older brother has been diagnosed with kidney cancer, which has already spread to his lungs. They're going to give him radiotherapy and some 'new' cancer drug treatment, but there is little optimism for any positive outcome. Having lost my sister to lung cancer nigh on 2 years ago, it's soul destroying to have another family member succumb in such a short period of time.

Sorry to read the sad news regarding your dear brother,the NHS can now do so many wonderful things and lets hope they can give him some treatment to get him better
