Same as Hendrick (post #8) I've got the Nationwide Flex Plus cover.
Had my first ever breakdown claim last week (clutch went on our Vauxhall Corsa) and recovery service was excellent. Along with the Travel Insurance, £13 /month is good value breakdown cover for all cars IMHO. Good luck John

I have just changed my cover on the Volvo after the renewal went up by a large amount. Originally it covered both cars but the other car became free within its main insurance but to cover just the Volvo it doubled???
Now with Recover Cover. They have a Defacto 5 star rating and with the addition of guaranteed car hire after an accident or breakdown it was £56.00. Less than last years. I could find lower prices but they were not highly rated or required an excess. I was surprised how much the likes of Green Flag are now charging. |

I got Camping and Caravan Club free with RAC cover for £121 last September, after searching for some cover which would cover recovery of car and the caravan, even if the caravan was on a site and car broken down on the road.
It was the only one willing to do that, that I could find. RAC normal cover, excludes any trailer.

Hi Rob. I took out green flag last year just before going to Holland. It was around £70 . If they think they are putting it up to £150 they can take a running jump. Greedy beggars. And another thing:- how are you going on?
