Default 2002 Connoisseur SE 2.5 Auto 67,416 miles

Having just bought myself a Range Rover, I need to free up space in my garage plus release up funds, so its with much reluctance I am having to put this much cherished car up for sale.

It’s a 2002 registered Rover 75 Connoisseur SE Automatic in Moonstone Green and Deep Sea Green Personal Line leather interior, that came off the assembly line on 30.08.01, low mileage of 67,416 with 2 previous owners, MOT to 13.10.19. registration number RA02 UHE to check the MOT history.

It was fully optioned when built with Serpent 17” alloys; xenon headlights, sunroof, walnut and sandstone steering wheel and walnut and walnut hand brake lever; Premium hi-fi system with Symphony Alpine head unit and Harmon/Kardon speakers and amp; Drivers Intelligence Pack of rear parking sensors, Highline instrumentation, auto-dimming rear mirror; Heated Wash Pack of heated washer jets and headlamp power wash; 2 sets of Deep Sea Green floor mats.

In addition, it has the standard spec of powerfold mirrors, rain sensing wipers, cruise and traction control, electric rear blind, drivers and passengers electric seat adjustment, driver and passenger cup holders. It even has the original dealer supplied smiley number plates and windscreen sticker.

I have added chrome door handle finishers, had a new replacement IPK screen fitted by ‘Rik-Sta’ on this forum and the full walnut and chrome interior kit from ‘Simon of Bulgaria’, replacement badges all round. I have detailed the engine bay and fitted replacement stainless bolts.

It has a fully documented service history and since my ownership had the cambelt and water pump replaced in December 2017 at 61,085 miles and serviced in October 2018 at 64,699 miles both by the MG Rover Specialist Centre in Wickford and had fitted a full set of premium Goodyear Efficient Grip tyres in November 2018 at 64,825 miles.

It comes with a presentation folder containing all the cars history and dealer brochures.

I will be sorry to see it go; I am offering it initially for sale here so hopefully another club member can continue to enjoy it. Price £1400.

With apologies to those who have tried to send me a message, with thanks to Reebs for letting me know my inbox was full, I've now made some space, please send me another message if you would like further information. I will take some photos of the car and post them as soon as possible.

I'll post some photos as soon as I can work out how to get them from my iPhone onto my laptop and then on the forum.

In the meantime, there has been a lot of interest, I don't think it will hang around for long.

A couple of other things to mention, included with the car will be a set of 4 x Union 16" alloys with tyres that have plenty of life left in them, which I got in case I found the ride of Serpents too harsh they're not!

As well as the extras I've already mentioned earlier I would add that the car also has for what they're worth but great for completeness the centre storage box torch and the spare bulb kit, plus brand new MG Rover warning triangle and handbook holder.

NOW SOLD
