According to the site, all Land Rover petrol vehicles after 1996 are Okay so we should be fine.😉 We have the same engines.

I hadn't heard about this before. Seems like more ways to hit the motorist
Apparently E10 will become standard and those who need E5 will need to buy super unleaded? Sigh |

Is that the V6s only, or K-Series as well? Thinking about my TF, not the tractor obviously...

Since nearly 4 years & 30k km (around 20k mls) I'm filling the tank with E85 (octane 105) without any problem at all. And with 2 resistors to trick the ECU (intake air sensor & coolant sensor) it drives fine and the engine is more responsive and has more oomph in the low revs.
No damage at all to any hose and I know to have taken off the head and the like of an 1.4 engine (Rover 25 - 4 years & 40k km / 26 mls) that the whole engine, valves & the like are nearly as clean as new, and spark plugs as well of a nice creamy colour. Hence have no fear gents!

I rang Sthil about my petrol combi motor, they did not have a clue about E10.
