Default FBH woes... :-( (Actually, hang on a minute...)

I eventually managed to get all the parts of my FBH jigsaw together last week.

A couple of months back I bought it from Phil (Suffolk Boy) and he fitted it for me. The PCB turned out to be U/S, so off this went to FrenchMike who fixed this for me. A few weeks ago Zeb helped me to get the PCB back in place

The final piece of the puzzle was the fuse, which took another two weeks to get round to putting back in!

This morning it was 3.5c and I had no joy from the FBH, so was all ready to post up asking for advice.

However, just got back from taking the dogs for a walk, and on returning to the drive and switching off, thought I could hear a very slight noise from under the bonnet. Temperature was now exactly 5c, and on switching back on and popping the bonnet, I found that the heater is indeed working! YEH!

Much quieter than I expected but just chuffed that it's going!

Many thanks to all the members mentioned above

When I got my car a few months ago I tested my FBH, only to find it dead.
I was resigned to a cold winter, after swapping my starter a couple of days ago (and disconnecting the battery) it just started working !
Chuffed
I've now got an RF switch on the way from China for less than a tenner to install so I can warm the car up before leaving the house
My car now heats the coolant up to over 80 degrees in a gentle 4 mile drive, much quicker than before.
