A very very sad day, I adore MASH, how they managed to convey, through humour, some of the horrors of that conflict, I'll never know.

The last ever episode still ranks in my top 5

The last episode ranks second to me to the last episode of Aint half hot mum where they are all demobbed and waiting fro the train home...Made me sob that did.

One of my absolute favourites aswell. -Hawkeye- was never as good in anything else after that. The Bell 47 Trooper came into serice during the Korean War. I don´t really know when they were phased out ut we had 4 in Nicosia in the 70s. (UNFICYP Aviation Flight). By then they were made by Augusta Bell in Italy. They were great to fly

The most memorable epsiode for me was when Henry Blake left (to be replaced by Sherman Potter). They did not tell the cast the end story line that his plane had been shot down and all killed until they actually filmed it. The reaction of the actors was genuine emotion.
