Ok chaps the CD player is out , now what I was thinking of doing is to get some power on it to get the CDs out , the plug on the CD player has a 10 way plug and is wired thus.....anyone know which of these wires supplies the power to eject the CD cassette.....
Pin 1 - red Pin 2- Green Pin 3- Blue Pin 4- NOT USED Pin 5- Brown Pin 6- White Pin 7- Blue Pin 8- Black Pin 9- NOT USED Pin 10- Yellow I was thinking of useing a 12volt car battery to get the power it may not work so please anyone who knows better please say this is just my thinking which could be completely wrong . I just want enough power to pop the CD casette out .... BTW The CD autochanger is a ALPINE XQE 105560 Thanks.....

The changer is 'controlled' via the K-Bus, there is no power feed to eject the CD cassette. You may have to dismantle the changer to get it out.

And there is a 'How to' -' Ice & Navigation', near the bottom of page 2 which may help.
