Default Where can I get APD?

Now that I have a Streetwise, there is a lot of plastic trim to look after. Many years ago an old friend told me about APD or Automotive Plastic Dressing. It looked brilliant on cars even good on wiper arms and door handles etc. Gave a good showroom look. Any idea where to buy as searches give me results that are not quite as required or as I remember? Pics show the extent of the job!

Like almost anything that works, I think it has been discontinued. However Autoglym does a very good plastic trim gel, it seems to be quite good.

You'll get someone along in a minute to tell you about Peanut Oil as well no doubt!

I use the Autoglym gel and i find it the best of the bunch that i've tried and seems to last quite well between aplications.

I will take a look at Autoglym. Most search results come up as dashboard shine which will last about 5 minutes on the exterior of a car.

If a product works well then it is invariably bad for the environment.

I use mine exclusively for the exterior.

This is the Autoglym, it is meant for exterior use.

Is that a 5 litre bottle of the APD you wanted in your link?

It's supposed to be the same gel as Autoglym but just loads more of it. It could be rubbish but there is only one way to find out. Ordered on line. Results posted as soon as I have used it.

The Autoglym Gel is completely clear. I've found for best results use sparingly and work it in well then polish off excess
