Default Modern World.

Visit to daughters house yesterday. I asked to borrow a newspaper, her reply,"this is the 21 century,we don't waste money on papers, use my lap top."

Tell you what, .... that fly never knew what hit him.

Lol

The only time I buy a newspaper is when I'm painting or spraying, use it for masking up.

Digital media, no paper content, how will will recall history if someone pulls the plug?

Very true, but me and my father were having a discussion this very week,
the other problem is, the amount of B.S. that's regularly written in the "rags",
it's probably a good thing if it all disappears into the abyss!
Historians in a few hundred years would have a very hard time working out what was fact and what was fiction!

When i go down to our local Skip Yard i am surprised at what people throw away. Then think back to our old coal fire, anything that would burn was put on that little fire. We used to have a small ash tip at the bottom end of town, and 99% of what was on there was ash. My mother would cook dinner for herself,my father and six children on that small fire, and after dinner nothing was wasted,no left over food, gave that to the dog,no left over packaging, put that on the fire.
Glorious Days.

Harping back to my little fire. Now that they are thinking about banning new houses with gas boiler central heating. What would the most Eco friendly,my small coal fire, gas C/H or freezing to death.
