powerwash relay
Do you have one fitted? passengerside fusebox,
"the BCU provides an earth for the coil of the powerwash relay which energises and closes the relay contacts" Sorry if i'm on the wrong track Paul, just trying to help.

Paul
Just been looking at the wiring diagram, and I'm 99?% certain it's BCU related. Before the power wash will work, the BCU needs to see that a) There is enough washer fluid b) The lights are ON It will then switch the feed to the relay which will pass the feed to the PW pump. The live feed to the pump should be 30 amp (fuse 44) I think what may be missing is the link between the light switch and the BCU. Any help ?

The BCU must know the lights are on I guess because the radio is getting its 'lights on' data. The BCU must be aware of the lights condition I'd have thought because it initiates the warning when the lights are on, engine off, and you open the door. |
