A very good morning, Ladies Gentlemen, Perverts, Reprobates,
a very frosty morning here at the moment, but a nice clear sky with plenty of sunshine.
Yesterday while we were out and about, I received a text message from Wickes saying, my delivery was ready to be dispatched, there was a contact I should arrange a delivery time and date, not got a clue what that was about as the last time we ordered anything from them was last year for a kitchen at our old address, any one had a similar experience.: shrug:

Morning Rev, How did the steam train day go? Sounds like those Nigerian princes have moved into the kitchen furnishing game.

Talk about idiot drivers! just back from taking mam for a blood test appointment and some roads are just solid ice, they just don't seem to drive for the conditions. there are quite a few blocked because of crashes on untreated roads.
Autonomous cars would be perfect for these loons.

Hi Ya> how are you, It went very well managed a two seater with table. it was packed and bleddy cold though, just rang Wickes to find out what was going on, it is a Deco Panel, being delivered to their Woking branch on the 20/02, that's strange seeing as we live in Nottingham, ordered under my wifes name, they are going to ring back with an answer.

I'm not too bad thanks, just stiff as a board in all the wrong places.
Sounds like cross wires somewhere along the line with Wickes! I remember you writing about having a new kitchen fitted ages ago.

Nice score with the table seats, I thought they usually had a diesel Loco coupled up as well as the steam engine to provide heat & lighting to the carriages for these type of excursions!

Yes they did they had a Diesel, to pull the whole train onto a main line they Have, then the Tornado took over for a ten mile trip, then the Diesel had to pull us back to the spur for the Tornado to pull us back to Ruddington.

I bought a new pressure washer gun/lance/snow foam kit which is a country mile better quality than the lance that came with mine. quick release instead of the bayonet type coupling.

It would have have cost not far off what I paid for this kit to send mine back under guarantee in postage costs
