Default 2 passes but diesel owners

My saloon passed its mot last month with a couple of advisories, beam pattern and handbrake efficiency. My Tourer has just passed its mot today, also with two advisories, buckled wheel, goodness knows what the previous owner did but none are round and slight play on front offside. So faint they could not pin point what it is and I could barely feeling. If I was not looking for it I would have missed it I think.

The saloon did not gets its service before the mot and the emissions were not as good as previous years, the Tourer did and its emissions were good.

So, diesel owners, day before the mot, change the fuel filter and fill the new one with diesel injector, run the car for 30 seconds, leave overnight then drive it like you stole it... that was advise I was given and it seems to work.
I also did air filter, oil, oil filter and PCV filter.

Drop links on the front have done about 10,000 miles and are myle, or spelt similar and were as good as gold
