Went to the CUMBRIA STEAM GATHERING last year held at Flookburgh Nr Grange-over-sands,fantastic event,a few reminders among loads of others of a great day.

My favourite kind of steam,'CORONATION STREAMLINER' DUCHESS OF HAMILTON at the NRM a few years ago.

A few shot's taken from the top of the 'LONDON EYE', 18 Months ago on a visit with the Family,my apologies for some distortion & reflections in some shots,mainly due to the angle of the shot through the Gondola windows.

Beautiful those John

As a poor boy from the North East - I've never actually seen the Thames in real life - isn't it a shame that it always seems such a murky grey colour?

Thanks for the birthday wishes and 'card' - I bet it's a lovely morning over your way today with a bit of the white stuff around.

Many thanks for your kind words,no mate,not much where we are on the coast,plenty around us especially on the surrounding mountains,hope to get out this weekend to get some shots.

Continuing with four last shots of our London trip,they are views of the Royal Observatory Greenwich,The Cutty Sark & two views from the Observatory looking across the Thames towards Canary Wharf.
