As always, I love paying a visit to your “photo studio”

You’re blessed with all those views practically on your doorstep.

It’s almost as nice as Ayrshire.

Keep up the good work John and Jan as well.

Many thanks Jim for those kind words, very much appreciated, yes the scenery isn't too bad really, although like everywhere I suppose we tend to take it a wee bit for granted,I love it though 10 mins from home & we can be in the heart of it all.

Jan, I & our tribe had a run up to your neck of the woods last week, well Edinburgh & Glasgow actually, spent the first day visiting the Britannia at Leith, stayed overnight Premier Glasgow Airport,2nd day went to the Museum of Transport, then to Kelvingrove Museum both absolutely fantastic venues & for anyone visiting Glasgow I would highly recommend a visit to both.

Hope you & the Family are well, take care of yourselves, look forward to hopefully catching you's at a meet sometime soon.

Best Wishes.....John & Jan.

Many thanks to you Hristo, actually your not far off the mark,Whitehaven has an association with a Captain John Paul later adding "Jones" to become John Paul Jones who was born in Kirkcudbrightshire,Scotland in 1747.

Incidentally, his first voyage to sea was from Whitehaven to America where he began a naval career with the Continental Navy later to become the American Navy I believe,he was often referred to as the "Father of the American Navy.

During one of his many exploits, possibly because of his association with Whitehaven,he led an ill-fated raid on the town in 1778 which apparently was not very successful,a very interesting character by all accounts.

Once again Hristo, many thanks for your kind words & sharing your superb photo's with us all on your beautiful Country, keep up the good work Sir.

Kind Regards.....John.
