Can't say I've noticed the lights getting any brighter with increased revs but nowadays I only use mine during the days. (Bantam D1 Plunger 1950). And mine doesn't have an electric horn, just a squeeze reed type between the handlebars.

No, my first bike was a sixteener special, a KTM Comet Cross.
Although it had a 4 speed box, most of the time it was at 2 speeds, either flat out or stationary.
