Default Sad News Eric Allen (Riclin)

It is with great sadness to inform the club of the passing of Eric Allen (Riclin) following a long struggle with Cancer on Friday morning.

He was an active member of the Club, as is his son Mike who has asked me to post this.

He really loved his car and really enjoyed meeting members at the meetings he attended.

I met Eric some years ago now when he brought his car over to me for some diagnostic work doing, and for some simple repairs, he had a great personality and sense of humour and we became good friends.

Rest in peace Mate, will really miss our regular chats.

Russ

Could one of the Mods please change the Club banner in Eric's memory.

Thank you Russ.

My dad loved his rover so much. Even when the drs where telling him he needed to go into hospital, he refused because he needed to MOT his car. In the last conversation we had he asked would I service it the following day.

I’d like to thank all of you who have helped dad especially big russ.

I miss him so very very much.

Oh no, how awful he was genuinely one of life's nice chaps.
Always a pleasure to speak to, my condolences.

Default Sincerest condolences

Hi so sorry to have to hear of your loss, and also our loss of a fellow owner.

Having the car as the third is a fitting tribute for his last journey.

Rip from myself and Avril my 75.
