Thumbs up 18 Inch Straights just been powdercoated!! Wow!

I have just picked up my set of 18" Straight alloys for my MG ZT-T from the refurbishers and boy am I impressed!

I wanted a proper job, not just fill and blow over like previous efforts.

I know that 'The wheel specialist' franchise is mentioned on this forum, with a discount code system in operation. However, I tried the newly opened branch of 'The Wheel specialist' in Belmont Industrial estate, Durham and I was well impressed with the Guy who runs it, the service and the quality of the end result.

A quick rundown of the process....Tyres removed, all paint stripped in acid bath, washed, kerb damage to rims dressed out (no filler used) rims sand blasted, powder coat then lacquer and polish, tyres refitted and balanced. New Chrome valves and caps fitted.

Price : £232 plus VAT for the 4 wheels. End Result..magnificent!

So any one in the North East wanting their wheels refurbing to the best standard then these are your boys!
By the way I have no connection of affiliation to this company, I am just so impressed with the end result!

Paul

Sounds very good, never knew they existed, and I work in Durham as well, I and a number of other members had the same done, by Romax on Portrack Lane, in Stockton,. and they charge £212 for all four

Hopefully we will get to see the results, why no come along to one of the Meets, either in the North East or Yorkshire

Stuart

They Do a same day turnaround, but I left mine for a few days. ( I have a spare set of straights, so not a problem). I can also offer you a loan of the set, if required!
