Thanks I may just do that, I know the safety system won't work if I were to be involved in an accident and with two kids thats a worry and it would be great to have some people who know what they're doing have a look at it. Be nice to have a look at some of the cars I've seen in pictures too, some very nice examples out there

Largest job I saw being done was a complete fan replacement I think

For me I have had a few mods done and t4 sessions. I have also fixed a members reverse switch and helped prop up a fallen exhaust. The next one is the teddy bears meet I am helping install a remote mod

I think I'd really like to attend the meet now my brain has had time to think about it, a day of looking at 75's and how people have improved them sounds great and I'll be able to put some faces to the names

I would however still like to be able to turn up without any problems though and I've been reading marty26's airbag thread, I'm guessing the side sensor is at the side in between the front and back doors so how do you gain access to it? I don't think water has been an issue and my plenums were bone dry but my passenger side door seal was a bit naff so I've replaced it, I could probably grab another sensor from the scrappy so might be worth a try

How many more sensors do these have that could be to blame?

Cheers,
John

One more vote to get along to the next nano meet, they are a really helpful bunch and will help all they can. If Arctic is there I am sure he will be more than happy to do the Spyhole and Handbrake compensator mod if they are needed.

There's also http://www.austingarages.co.uk/.

Nick and Jean are highly recommended.

Regarding the meets, the aim is really that everybody helps out where they can. Hopefully you enjoy the meet, come back next time, and are able to help out the next newbies.

A T4 session to have a new fob linked to my ZR cost me £27 at Dreadnought Garage, Callendar. Good value and I got a wee look around their garage also.
