May i make a suggestion. I have been to a few meets & have been fortunate enough to meet members of the club, some a few times. It occurred to me that some people may find this a bit of an ordeal,as they know no-one when they attend,& may feel overwhelmed at the prospect of turning up & not putting names to faces.I was lucky enough to attend my first meet with Colin(2diesels) & Fred Spencer, who introduced me to others,so the first meet wasn,t too bad.Anyway, would it be any use, someone taking pics of members at a meet, with names added,so someone attending for the first time can at least have a chance of saying " hello,im, so & so,i see you,re blah blah" & then introduce themselves with real names etc? Just a thought to put in the mix.A sort of rogues gallery?

something like this was started not too long ago, but if i remember, it never really took off.

i think the best thing to do would take a group pic of people from that region and then add names as appropriate. the only problem with this is if your like me, and have possibly the worst memory for names in the world, you will remember faces, but still not be able to put a name to them

however, it could be a potentially good idea. i do appreciate how difficult a first meet can be if you dont know anybody, but i know most are very welcoming anyway, so as soon as your talking, its easy

I think two items would help.. One, pin a name tag on your coat.. Two.. stick to the name you use in the forums..

An excellent idea, we all have computers and could probably knock up our own in no time. A hint would be to make the Forum name on the Badge easily visible.

I've made my own for the Nationals
