Broken front spring, potentially rubbing against tyre?.
I had this happen to both front springs, one after the other, when stationery.

I had similar problem this year. It was a broken offside front spring. I backed out of drive turned the steering wheel and a grating noise just appeared.

I've had this and as Ian mentioned it was the brake disc cover bent in and just touching the disc when turning left. Quite a loud scraping noise, luckily a quick, easy and free fix.
