Morning all, What a wet wild & windy night, The wind has been howling down the bedroom chimney & still blowing a gale.
Lots of plant pots & garden furniture blown around even though I moved them out of the direction of the wind. Got high winds & rain forecast for the whole day

Great picture Jeff, What sweeties.

Blimey! Phil that must have been an 'orrible experience, Glad you are both safe.

I think (hope!) I’m starting to see the end of this flu (or whatever it is) bug. Still have the nagging headache and feel like a washed out cloth but the muscle and joint aches have subsided. Still mainlining paracetamol to keep on top of it.

That's a begger Steve. Missus is back in bed feeling awful with a temperature & coughing her head off. I'm keeping out of the way & pushing her meals under the door wi a stick I'm keeping out the way as I'm starting the month long cancer treatment at Christies next Tuesday 17th & I don't want to risk any more postponements through illness .
Still a 'orrible rainy windy day out there so train driving duties on the GWR London Paddington to Reading driving a BR Class 166.

Early tea I'm starving of home made chicken, leek & mushroom pie, mushy peas & chips

Hmph, one step up from driving a bus! Get something that belches diesel fumes

I know whose fault the flu is. We had friends here at new year, one was just getting over the flu, obviously not far enough over

LOL Just been watching the next TSW3 release, a Class 385 Scotrail on a Edinburgh-Glasgow express route.
