Replaced my under bonnet fuel pump, would have been a doddle, but I found that one of the torx bolts in the battery box had been put in by some hamfisted idiot, who had managed to do it up in such a way that it was seized half way in. Nevermind all sorted now.

Not quite today, but yesterday I did the tie wrap trick with my engine under tray. I no longer get the scrapping sound when I go over those annoying mini speed bumps.

It has been a productive couple of days.

Gold resistor fitted, fixing my car's tendency to sound like a Boeing 747 on take off every 5 minutes.

New rear engine mount fitted, which will hopefully cure a judder when pulling away and help with some vibrations.

And an extra horn fitted, so that I no longer sound like Noddy's smaller brother when making my presence felt on the Queen's highways.

All of which took less time than getting the bumper and engine undertray back on afterwards

Just took her out for a drive today, nice to have her back as she was off the road while I replaced all the injectors and clamps earlier this week

Fitted a towbar to the silver car before it becomes the new daily, also fitted a set of zt clear red lights over a set of cracked 75 ones on it.

The decided to wash out the entire boot area of the new silver car, de sand it, seal up rear vents, wash the carpets and the light covers etc.

Very happy with it now.
