Default FS: My Triumph TR7 dhc

Dear All,

I'm selling my beloved TR7 which I've owned since April 1993 and which I've always enjoyed driving. It really is surplus to requirements now (I managed a whole 60 miles in it last year!) and I need the garage space, so reluctantly I've put it on Autotrader.

I hope the link will work! http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk.../search.action Mine's the silver one for £1,4000 with 47,000 miles on the clock. Yes, it's first time around - the car had done 16,000 when I bought it and it looked it.

There's tax till the end of October and the MOT runs till late April 2009. It's a lot of car for the money and in time for some cheap summer fun.

There are loads of uprated parts - whenever something has needed replacing, I've gone for uprated parts such as the stainless steel, four branch manifold and big-bore exhaust - sounds fabulous (I turned up at a TR Register raly and was asked if it was a V8! - It's not, it's a 2 litre, 5 speed manual). I've put Spax shocks all round (adjustable on the rear), an anti-dive kit on the front, K&N Filters, Kenlowe electric fan, cruise lights all round (the front ones flash with the indicators) and alloy wheels. The original steel wheels (with tyres) are available, as is a new o/s door skin on its frame, ready to replace the original one that's a bit tired.

If anyone's interested, or know someone who might be, please phone via the number on the Autotrader ad or PM me via the forum.

Many thanks for reading.

Cheers, Steve

Yes, I do mean £1,400. The price quoted in my first post of £1,4000 is the price in 10p pieces .

Cheers, Steve
