Default Do people have it too easy these days?

Do People have it too easy these days, with their big TVs and fancy public libraries? When I was young the teachers would beat my bum with a stick just for smiling. I remember that happening and I learned quick. I watched a lot of war films in the 1960s and 70s. It was character-building, seeing what those actors went through. Modern society these days is all wrong and too soft.
I just want the government to carry on with austerity but make it worse, punish the dole scroungers, the overpaid politicians, reggae lovers and make everyone in Scotland pay for their prescriptions to keep them on a par with the English. They should get rid of London buses and make everyone walk everywhere in shoes that are too tight, or in diver’s boots

And don't forget they should lick road clean before they go to work at 3.30am but only after cleaning out rolled up newspaper, that they'd have to live in, which is in the bottom of a septic tank.

Kids today eh, don't know they're born.

ahh memories of school meals and the pervading smell of cabbage boiled to within the last minute of its life and then being locked in the classroom in the afternoon with 30+ others playing the Pharp! Pfarp! chorus and having to take deep breaths to get rid of it quickly, is not something I want to experience ever again .......

Don't mention school dinner! At my school they used to stand over you until you ate everything, even if you disliked it so much it made you gag, to this day there are few veggies I actually like.
