Default Fitting Cruise Control to 1.8 Manual

Christopher has managed to undertake and complete successfully the Installation of Cruise Control on a 1.8 Rover 75 with Manual gearbox.
Something even MGR Didn't offer or do.

A very detailed How to is on link below.

Well done Christopher a great achievement.

Wow what a mammouth task, lots and lots of information with very clear pictures, after reading through the whole operation I felt that it was something that I might undertake to do myself should I ever decide that I need Cruise Control.

Brilliantly written with crystal clear pics, very very well documented piece of work.

Thanks chaps

I will update the how-to with more info on getting the "CC-engaged" dash light to work once I am happy my mod is working to my satisfaction

It was a lot of work but spread over a few weekends nottoo bad. Now if anyone wants to try it it should be considerably easier as someone (muggins here) has already torn their hair out on how to do this!

Cheers

OK - just to confirm that the circuit for the Cruise Engaged lamp on the IPK seems to be working fine. I have updated the "how to" and added some pictures of the OEM look too

Pleased as punch - the moment of truth will come over the summer and my drive to Italy (and back!) (and no Ken, not driving to New York )

So all form a Orderly Queue whilst Christopher fits these as a side Line.

Still think that is some achievement, very well done.

Now who is going to try it Next?
We have had many queries in Past about fitting CC to 1.8's.
