As many know I increased my remote range by upto around 45 foot.
But not so long back the remotes would never work while the car was on my driveway. I pulled the car off the drive and remotes worked fine. Put it back on the drive, and remotes failed to work again???????????? Spooked!! Still don't know to this day what caused it. It lasted for 3 days. Will have to look into this a bit more me thinks |

Thanks for all the advice, alas nothing has worked. I gave a company called Rover Link in Widnes a call as they indicate they specialise in rover keys. They said there should have been a bar code with the keys, which I didn't get when I bought the car, but they might be able to pull of the code from the car and reprogramme the keys. Anyone any experience of this company? they seemed fine on the phone.

One question. Are there any mobile phone masts near you (very near) as these have been known to cause interference with the 433mHz signal.

No sign of any masts or radio hams (I'm a lapsed one mind so mustn't frame them). As I've only just got the car I don't know how long the remote has not been working.
