Can anyone recommend so LED number plate bulbs that are user friendly in our cars without setting off all kinds of warnings I have a blown bulb so thought I would try some LEDs or are they not worth it , any help gratefully received .

I've given up with led's, cheap ones last a matter of weeks, get hot and set off warnings if not can bus.

Expensive ones are that, expensive to the point of not worthwhile (it's not like at home where saving power saves money).

Steve, I can bring you some to try next W/E at your Steam Meet. Unless you fancy Ruislip Lido this Sunday.

Peter.

I fitted LED for the number plate can't remember when it was that long ago 3-4 years and still working. Standard bulbs kept going out, common fault, but once led fitted no probs.

Give them a go, can always change back.

I tried led bulbs but decided I simply didn't like how they looked above the number plate... too directional. So for 1/5 of the cost of the led bulbs, I bought a pack of 10 standard bulbs which should keep me going for a while.
