Default Inner Tie Rod (replacement parts)

How'do folks

I'm hoping to get my MOT advisories ticked off my list.

Inner Tie Rods - has anyone changed these ? what parts are we using ? and where to purchase some ?

Are Mg/Rover Parts available ?

I don't fancy "HD, OEM Quality" unbranded replacements

I found various sets on eBay but purchased a set of QH ones which seem to be working well for the last year

Default Inner Tie Rod (replacement parts)

I use VW sharan ones, the inner thread needs cutting down a few mm to allow them to fit, but for half the price of the other rover ones out there it’s worth doing.

I’ve fitted QH ones on my cars and a few customers cars and they seem to last fairly well

I managed to get these parts ordered/delivered

I opted for Moog parts - same as my recently fitted Front Control Arms

I'm satisfied these Moog Parts are of Good Quality

Vw Sharan/Ford Galaxy/Seat Alhambra..... stick them where you like it seems - Inner Tie Rods - Paired with Rover 75/MG ZT Track Rod Ends.

the Inner Tie Rods measure 17mm (or just shy) on the inboard thread going by my Rule - i'll wait until i've removed/measured the original parts before i make any adjustments here

I have a tool for removing the Original Inner Tie Rods.....we'll find out if it's any Good - and i'll threadlock the new parts when fitting (inboard thread)

Moog don't do them,
the one's on eBay are the VW Sharan / Seat Alambra / Ford Galaxy ( all the same vehicle obviously under which ever badge they wear ) which have been machined down.
If done properly I cant see the problem with doing this as it's only a couple of mm of the length on the thread going into the rack.

We've got some that are the correct length - and they last fantastically well.
A 5 year no-quibble warranty is included, and they're in UK stock and ready to go.

Mine are last well that I got from DMGRS a couple or so years ago. That’s because I have not fitted them yet. Only got them as a standby. If Scott or Matt read this I will let you know when I fit them, and count the 5 years warranty from when I fit them. Is that ok Scott/Matt.? Lol
