Just a thought Terry, can you increase your mileage? take the long way round or the pretty route? more enjoyment in your driving not just convenience. Chris S.

Not yet!
Hi Guys,
I wanted to comment on this thread, as it is relevant to me too, but all has been covered very much in the right way. For me however, it will be when I stop driving my 75 stops too. I purchased my connie Tourer in 2005 and it has been on the road ever since. I will be 85 in May and still love driving and have no intention of stopping yet. I am happy to drive at night, in the snow or whatever. Mileage per year has dropped but we just do not “do” so much these days! My annual insurance is £236 with Direct so I think you have reason to change insurers! My 75 is still a very nice car. If something goes wrong I have it mended. Bodywork and interior is excellent mileage now 160k . Have a great year out on the roads and enjoy the freedom while you can. |
