Smile Useful stuff?

Another useful add-on made on purpose for our 75 & ZT.

I was fed up with my phone stuck on the windscreen. I have already my TomTom on it.

So I found out the Brodit Proclip 853424 intended to be fitted in our cars.
I know it might not be everybody's taste but I find it very handy, very strong (mind you that my LG G4 has a thick & heavy triple charge battery!) and icing on the cake very close to the USB port just in case to take the charge.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Brodit-8534...ProClip+853424

You may grasp to the Proclip: no way it could fall on the mat! It's tightly stuck within the console.

I've just taken off the front part of my Aukey once stuck on the screen, and screwed it on the front part of the Brodit (actually small nut & bolt) so that even I can orientate the phone.

And don't moan about all my ugly wires: the long cassette wire will very soon disappear & be replaced by a Bluetooth wireless tape adapter I've just ordered:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bluetooth...cAAOSwImRYMyxv

Why not buying a brand new aftermarket Bluetooth radio?
I want to keep my car as genuine as possible when it was built in Cowley and I'm not willing to make any mod which could not be reversed.
Each to their own...

Ooo - good one!
I love gadgets like this.
One question - is the phone holder part jaws-kind one /with a spring/ or magnetic one?

During the years I found couple of holders comfortable for me.
Finally, to be me I modified them
With walnut vinyl by obvious reasons:

Links to the products:
- Car Air Vent Mount 360 Degree Rotation Phone Cell Drink Cup Bottle Holder Stand and
- Universal Vehicle Car Air Vent Cup Drink Bottle Mount Bracket Stand Phone Holder
I don`t like jaws-kind of phone holders.

Will do re-mod for the closer one with the magnetic type when delivered. No replacing but mod - stuck jaws to position open enough to fit the phone without any force - the magnets will do the rest

I`m not stuck to the original interior look but in comforts. Finally the car should be in service, not the opposite

Slowly and surely my driver surroundings go like Millennium Falcon`s pilot cabin.

Spring one (Aukey). It works fine and never let fall my phone.

Knowing nothing at all of that magnetic trick, I feared that a magnetic stuff would disturb something inside the phone in the long run.
You may judge it nonsensical but I like my phone and didn't want to take any risk.

I've found a better solution than the tape to have a bluetooth connection & icing on the cake a hands-free phone:

Already ordered.

What a pity - spring one.
My phone for 3 months is under magnetic attack already - no problems at all. All of the time when charging at home and in the car. Multiple apps running, incl. Google Maps navigation, Bluetooth connected to the multimedia as hands-free, Torque pro in background...
By the way - the most useful gadget ever for the mobile as I`m taking off/putting on it from the holder two digits times in a working day

Any other useful gadget you`ve found?

No problem with the spring: once stuck within the spring, I leave it all the way long.
In France we are not supposed to play with while driving: I wouldn't appreciate so much a 135€ fine!
That's why hands-free is very useful.

No other useful gadget at the moment.
I like those add-ons only when they facilitate day to day use & comfort. Otherwise I try to keep clean my car.

Yep, you're right, I've just missed one.
As I am unfortunately used to migraines due to cervical osteoarthritis, I need to have my neck comfortable. So I'm waiting for that (in beige indeed):

Good one for sure

Today delivered couple of sunglasses for driving - for the intensive sunlight and for at night driving /yellow lenses/. Bought from the same seller clip-on type too.
Recently fitted Car Sunglasses Case Holder Glasses Cage Storage Box for VW Audi BMW Benz Honda
Will refit it as it hasn`t fit perfectly on the spot - needs some insert or padding between the gadget and the base to open widely.

The documents holder delivered today too - will report when fit in the gap between the passenger seat and the mid console tomorrow.

Smile

My bluetooth / FM device is arrived yesterday.
Already fitted.
Very efficient and great sound for my playlists because it's 4.1 compliant.
As fine as my 6 CD changer.

I'll hide very soon those ugly spaghettis but our eyes aren't at the same level as our ankles, are they?
