Lovely location John.Strangely enough I was driving through a similar glade a few days ago and was thinking what a great place for a few pic's.Car looking good as ever.

Many thanks Mick those were my thoughts too, great location for photography, fantastic views high up on Whinlatter Pass overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake & surrounding valley towards Skiddaw.
It's mostly Forestry Commission up there with some good parking areas like the one here, there's also the Whinlatter visitor Centre with a good cafe a little further up.
