IT LIVES!!!
I'm happy to report to the good people of this forum that the MOT went through with zero advisories. As I initially drove the car to the workshop I find it hard to believe that the second I turned the engine off the master cylinder decided to commit Hari Kari. This means the cause of the issue was almost certainly the use of 40psi to bleed the system thereby deforming the seals. A mistake by the mechanic for sure but by way of compensation he didn't charge for some of the other work needed. #relieved to be honest. Thanks for all input to my issue, I really appreciate it. |
