Intercooler hose
Hi guys is the top intercooler hose seal supposed to sit just outside of the housing like in the picture or has it come out a bit?

You should not see the seals either the pipe has raised or the intercooler has dropped, the pipe should push right into the intercooler

Yeah I've taken that out and removed the pipe but am unable to see that top seal home. Am I to presume the seal is swollen and needs replacing? Somebody has gone to the trouble of putting in a silicone hose I'd imagine they also put viton o rings in but you never know?

Cancel that it just takes some support on the bottom of the intercooler and brute force to push the elbow in!

I had to modify the point the hose bolts to slightly - mine had a habit of popping out under high load conditions.
By being able to seat the elbow a couple of mm lower, it stopped the issue completely.
