Dartrivet is correct with regards to the handle. The BMW part number is 51 47 7 046 771 - it's also known as a 'HANDLE' or (strangely) 'TOOL' - and it's for a BMW "3-Series Touring" 1998-2005 model (body codename E46, NOT the newer E91). Be prepared for storemen to pretend they've never heard of it, or can't find it. My man had to look it up in about 3 different books before he found it - so if you are sure to tell them the year and model, as well as the part number it'll save you time and fuss.

Ignore the fact that the drawing (if they show you it) doesn't look exactly right - the product that comes across in the bag IS right! You get top and bottom halves of the handle, plus the two screws for (in my case) £12.69. Result! (that price was back in 2008, mind, when I first wrote about this)

mikesmith2 is most probably right about the widths of the actual cover-sheet not matching though; I never tried those, and just needed a replacement handle (as Tourer owners may know, or will find out, if you let the sheet fly back under its own power, it will likely smash the handle, so be warned!)

The garage that did my tracking, and subsequently changed my rear axle trailing arm bush had trouble finding one; the cross referenced part numbers and found a BMW part was suitable. For obvious reasons, I didn't ask about exactly what the part number was. This is however of some use to those with the facilities to cross reference part numbers.

On the diesel, where the top coolant hose meets the engine is a plastic fitting which bolts to the engine, this also has a rubber gasket... Rimmers want £20 delivered just for the gasket. And £50 for the plastic piece and gasket.

I just purchased the full plastic piece and gasket for £16 delivered fromiisland 4x4, it's a freelander part but identical to the MGRover part. Part number LVJ100870Lhttp://www.island-4x4.co.uk/water-ho...0l-p-8085.html

I did do a quick search in this thread but didn't find anything. So I apologise if this has been mentioned already.

I believe that MK IV Golf side repeaters are the same as the ones found on facelift 75s and ZTs.

Ah never mind then.

I could have sworn I read somewhere that they still fit though.

That is true of many/ all of the VW range. It is also a standard part used on many cars. A difference is that one requires a coloured bulb the other uses a built in orange filter.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Default Rover 75 V6 Auxiliary belt idler pulley

Part number is PQR100781. The following ad provides some cross references to other part numbers.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/141206278...84.m1423.l2649

One being LandRover part number PQR500160. Does anyone know if this is the same part. I see there are many PQR500160L on ebay at a much lower price than PQR100781 generally seems to be.
