Pre-facelift front grill
I would like to change the front grill on my (04) pre-facelift 75 from the vertical slat type to the stainless mesh type, I have been seeing these fitted to a few cars pictured on here.
Are these actually available as a genuine Rover part / product or have they all been subject of a DIY project / mod? I really like the look of them but i can't seem to find any available for sale anywhere. |

They are a DIY mod, I am sure someone will be along soon to point you in the right direction to the "how to" instructions.

If anyone ever comes up with a mesh conversion that allows me to keep my bonnet release claw rather than having to convert to the pov-spec "grope 'n' hope" set up I will be eternally grateful.

Without wishing to upset the purists ... that grill is so much better looking than the slats imo. very nicely done btw, looks perfect. should have been an option from the factory!
