Those are what I can see generic AUX-in interfaces which will not provide any sort of ipod control or charging. Incidentally they look exactly like one half of the complete kit.

But to answer Phils question on wether it's just a matter of plugging in and putting the ipod in the glovebox I'd say maybe. I wired mine though the glove box but as the playlist selection stuff didn't work I kept the ipod in the hole at the bottom of the centre console (with the cable running - visibly - to the glovebox).
