Such a legend in the sport, probably rivaled only by Enzo Ferrari. Williams have always been 'my team' from when I pleaded with my dad on holiday in Blackpool in 1980, to buy me an Airfix/MRRC Williams FW07B slot car, because then, I thought it was the most beautiful 'Scalextric' car that was there - still now, in my eyes, the best looking F1 car of all time (even more than the Gold Leaf/JPS Lotus 72 or JPS 79 on which it 'loosely' copied).

Very sad to hear this.
But yes, a true legend and what a life he had. Time for him to meet back up with some of the greats that he helped to create and their forebares and, of course, Murray Walker. RIP |
