ICE problems
Quote:
Hi Reebs As another Southampton man do you, by any chance, like working on other peoples 75s as much as it seems you like working on your own? You obviously like sorting out ICE problems and mine has a few issues. Cheekily Ken |

Guys you have to admire Pauls (Reebs) how to's.
Any one of those would take me a week to compile : There's also the back if the satnav comp itself which can get damp/corroded.. But don't take the plugs off that incase you shut the navcomp down mid flow. Best to wait until light goes out and then do a battery disconnect. Actually...... Paul what do you think of a battery reset incase the navcomp just has it's instructions a bit FUBAR? . Glad Herne Bay is on the mend. Must come down for a look see again.

Eject the nav disc open the bonnet, boot and drivers door wait for approx 1 & 1/2 mins until the Red LED goes out on the nav computer and the video module fan in the spare wheel well goes silent then disconect the battery and go ahead and remove the nav computer. The two mulipin connectors on the rear (Purple & Blue) are held shut with a black plastic clamp, just flip it up on each connector and the plugs will pull off with ease. Check for corrosion or water damage then re-fit. |
