Default MG ZT-T V8 SE #420 Royal Blue

A one owner from new Royal Blue MG ZT-T V8 SE. Used mainly as a second and third car from new. Having spent long periods on sorn. Main use has been summer touring across Europe, to the South of France.

Has a full service record with receipts for everything spent on it from new. All original panels and paint, with the exception of the rear bumper which is a perfect match (got scratched on the top).
All the shocks are original and show minimal surface corrosion. The same can be said for the springs and subframes. Heater hose has been upgraded, clip fitted to fuel filter and a new old stock heater valve was fitted a few years ago and is still working as it should. All 4 Apex alloys are in excellent condition, with only very slight corrosion starting around the centre cap holes. All four tyres are matching Uniroyal Rainsport 3 with approx. 2,000 miles on them. The tracking was also done when these were fitted.

Brake discs were replaced and upgraded recently with drilled and grooved club discs and red stuff pads. Recent brake fluid change and clutch fluid change. The oil and filter have just been changed. Castrol Edge 5W30 engine oil used, with a genuine Ford filter 820S. All the oil and filters used have been the same throughout its life.
Gear box oil was replaced at about 35,000 miles and diff oil was changed at the same time. The diff oil was also changed at the first service. All fluids used have been Castrol, except the brake and clutch fluid which is AP. There are no signs of fluid leaks from anywhere. The car retains its original undertray.

The current mileage is a little over 75,000 miles.

MG/Rover front mud flaps have been fitted from new and colour coded smaller MG7 ones fitted to the back. There are no car park dinks or marks on the car anywhere. Only a few stone chips to the front are visible on close inspection.

This is a full option car, with the exception of the rear DVD entertainment system. It has the factory fitted sat nav, power fold mirrors, Harman Kardon sound, full leather, electric, heated, seats etc, etc. The interior is immaculate with only very slight wear visible to the bolster of the drivers seat. The car has had MG over mats fitted from new and the rubber boot floor cover from new.
The silver dash and trim was changed for the black oak when the car was purchased. Except the gear change surround which was not available in black oak. The original silver parts are not supplied, but can be quite easily sourced if you prefer them.

Under the bonnet is a clean as the rest of the car. It is standard except the fitting of a cold air induction kit and K&N filter mounted behind the off side front bumper. This makes a huge improvement to the throttle response of the car. A few of the top hoses were changed to blue silicone ones to fit the new induction system. The original intake, filter housing etc are supplied if you prefer the original look. The car is also fitted with a pair of polished stainless steel back boxes . These are a little throatier than the standard ones but not as loud as the X Powers. They do not boom or drone inside the car. There is also a front strut brace fitted. This is purely for asthetics and is bolted to the front strut mounting bolts. This can easily be removed if you prefer. It does not interfere with access for any of the servicing. The top of the brace is engraved with MG ZT-T and the letters infilled in red. Many of the bolts and fixings for the front bumper have been changed for stainless steel items. The Cupra lower lip added to the front bumper is also attached with stainless steel fixings. The original V8 black lower lip is also retained behind it. The headlights have the clear lens protectors fitted and again have been on the car from new. There is no clouding of the headlight lenses.

The car can be viewed by prior arrangement near Blakeney in Norfolk or near Colchester in Essex.

The car is advertised elsewhere.

Price 9,995
