Today, being a very nice day, after taking the wife to the eye hospital for her 9 month check over, I decided to fit the Pagid rear brake discs. All nicely cleaned up and working ok. The others had done nearly 98,000 miles, so not to bad. And they were still within the permitted thickness. Might get them skimmed.

Replaced the exterior LED floorlights because I improved their design. While I was at it, I replaced the front pad sensor as well and cleaned up the last bit of the wheel arch that I hard to reach normally.
Then took the fabric from the doorcard loose for a part, taped it all up and resprayed it with glue and slowly put the fabric back. The soggy spot where the glue had let to is now looking spot on again. Tomorrow another proper wash planned with a small detail.

Well I managed half.......
My intention today was to give the interior of my Eve a clean and polish which I done....this was done in the morning in glorious sunshine.
Then in the early evening when it was cooler, my intention WAS to wash and clean the exterior. But wifey said "we have been invited out for a meal" so begrudgingly I went, got back 8.30 so couldn't do it . Now a storm is predicted Sunday so that is on the back burner now I suppose 1 out of 2 is not too bad...... not........

Finished KV6 reassembly after belt change, ally thermostat housing, etc. Annoyed with myself for having to lift off the plastic manifold again as I'd missed connecting a breather pipe. Don't know if it runs, battery float.
Fitted a drop link on the r/h side, lets hope the DMGRS ones lasts longer than three Rimmer ones which wear or actually break after 6 months! |

Having a garage clear out so two tip runs, love the usefulness of the tourer. It’s amazing how much junk you collect over the years. Hopefully it stops raining and I can have a look at the reverse sensors later..

Decided to check the plenum was clear, spy hole mod at last meet to make it easy, drain was clear, but not so sure now, as I pushed the plug on plenum cover back in and it went right through. No doubt sitting there ready to block everything again. Will wait for next meet in a few weeks time and get my son to recover the plug. He will be coming in the. V6 auto.
