My guess would be about a £100 plus.

Decent tyres for these are in the region of £150 each fitted and balanced. Yes I know we can buy tyres for half that but they usually last for half the time and don't grip like a quality branded tyre.

Get a nice LSD fitted hahaha!

Could be worse, a set of tyres on the GTR was £1500 for the Potenza RE070s

Cool Smiles per miles

Got a blinding deal from Alltyres Trading in Woodford. Pair of Uniroyal Rainsports 3 direct from Uniroyal. Balanced and fitted for £245. Well happy with that. In fact I was so happy I spent another £51 topping up the tank.

Exactly, I have a friend with an S3 Audi, he does not understand the concept of decent tyres, his misses put it in the back of a van in the wet and the assessor actually said no wonder with those rubbish Chinese tyres fitted. I don't get it, spend nearly a years wages on a car and fit tyres I would not even fit to wheel barrow. Maybe it is me?

Completely agree, tyres are possibly the most important part of a cars handling and control.
That tyre keeps you on the road, it provides grip, noise, performance it prevents wheel spin and lock up under braking.

Tyres are the one things i wont scrimp on unless its something that will only ever be used under normal conditions and even then i usually go with mid range tyres rather than bottom dollar budgets as its not worth the risk.

I mean granted cheap tyres are a lot better now a days since having new rules and criteria to meet.
