Default Front Spring Saga.

After a replacement spring (fitted at an RAC garage) the new spring was too firm and bounced the car all over the place. They fitted a spare I had (f.o.c) but it's only slightly better. Sooooo, I need 2 new front springs for a 2004 diesel that won't bounce me up against the roof lining. Recommendations please, I can't be faffing with colour codes, just need to be re-assured I get the right ones and a smooth ride. Thanks
Heddy.
