For the water in the rear offside floor, have a check on the 'pipe' that you can see in your first picture on the drivers rear seat position. Feel underneath this pipe go check it for holes or rust. Just found mine has gone tommy cotton underneath and showing signs of water ingress from under the rear wheel arch where the conduit is partly hidden by a cover of sorts. The pipe is not part of anything structural ,just carries electric cables in conduit.
