Replaced the rear discs on the ZT, then noticed some toerag has helped themselves to the badge from the front bumper
Don't you just love it when a light fingered tosspot jemmies a badge off with a screwdriver and damages the paint |

Well, over a few days really, but on the "new" 75 (the 75 rescued from Malta - 2.0L KV6) I:
- fitted new 'EU' plates front and back - deep cleaned the dashboard and 4 door cards (The Autoglym Interior shampoo is VERY GOOD!) - Fitted the Navall III - Fitted the Bluetooth OBD dongle (arrived today) - fitted walnut steering wheel - fitted walnut handbrake handle - fitted indicator lever with 'PC' button - fitted illuminated visors + wired them in - fixed warning triangle to inside of boot - swapped over my MG7 lights from R70 to this car - fitted drivers side windows switches with folding mirror button - packed first aid kit in glove box - fitted battery box cover Yet to do: - leather seats deep cleaned and ready to be fitted but need wiring loom for electric seats - swap autodipping mirror - need wiring - swap electric blind - swap chrome folding bullet mirrors - swap cubby hole torch wiring - fit auto walnut gear knob when it arrives phew!

Having spent the last few days fitting new clutch and hydraulics. I also took the opportunity to fit my 190 airbox...the sound is much improved and I could be fooled in to thinking the engine is more willing in higher revs. Good result in my mind.
Unfortunately, I've spied plenty of other jobs to add to the list. MOT time will soon be looming, various bushes, pipes and handbrake (Bini parts ordered) to sort out. Got to love these cars

Had the Connoisseur MOT'd this morning. Given a straight pass, though a very slight play was noticed in one of the track rod ends. Not a big deal.

After doing the spy hole plenum mod, followed it up today by fitting a Jules Plenum Guard and meshing the plenum covers as a belt and braces way of stopping those pesky leaves etc from blocking the drains
What a great idea Jules, thanks a million, so easy to fit every car should have one. |
