left wire - orange
right wire - orange/red.

Thanks so much I'll take a look when I do the passenger mirror tomorrow. If they are there I will need to get the two words from the left powerful mirror to populate the two empty spaces I guess are on the door side plug ...

Then I'll have to take the drivers door off (again!) and do the same there

Much appreciated

Yes the above is correct and the drivers door loom will also have the wires that go to the door switch

Ahh! the two wires in the drivers side switch pack are MISSING (I had to put them in myself)- does that mean I likely won't find the orange wires in the loom?

Cheers

I had to change the door looms as they weren't present, but the wiring from wing to wing was present. I took the panel under the steering wheel and looked at where the loom came through, and hey presto could see the orange wires.

Thanks for all your help - I now have my folding mirrors working and I used the two orange/orange-red cables to do it.

Result!
