If you close the app down befour you turn off the unit it should not start when you turn on the unit.

I think it would be a good idea for the link (Download the latest update here) on your website to work and people be able to get the firmware without having to keep asking. You could include a text file with what has been updated and people can choose if they need the update or not. Just an idea.

Are we getting the firmware or not?

I've just sat down with a cuppa and gone through this thread carefully and I dont' THINK I saw a comment on this - so apols if these have been answered:

1. Is the "traffc update" soft button in iGo been sorted? there was a post a while back saying it was supposed to but didnt and needed an possible update ...

2. Has ANYONE go the Bluetooth OBD II dongle to work with ANY app on the HU? After receiving THREE dongles each of them refuse to communicate?!? ANy pointers anyone?

3. Can anyone recommend a 3G dongle to plug unto the unit (I presume through a USB port)? I would go for a Vodafone SIM if possible.

Thanks for any help

Best

Hi Christopher, hope you had a good Christmas

1: There is a new version of primo available that I believe works with the traffic updates as long as the unit receives an Internet connection.
Sean can send this as a download

2: Not sure what is going on there as others are using them.
Did you go into the Bluetooth settings on the head unit and make sure that is set?
I'm not the best to answer as I don't use one in my car so hopefully other users may give more input there .

3: Sean sells a 3G dongle for these units and yes it does indeed plug into one of the USB ports

Thanks for the quick response Jeff - re 1 and 2 I'll speak with Sean (I still need to install the partition update + latest too) and I'll look at the Dongle.

Re OBD - I have tried so many settings and apps etc. I'm pretty sure its not a settings thing (I can't get the dongles to work with apps on my Smartphone either?!?). I'm greatful for any help.

Cheers

PS: After a VERY hectic 2015, I switched off for a few days and it was GOOD - sadly next week will be back in the thick of things
